Description

The Rev Patrick Peyton, CSC, was the Director of ‘Family Rosary Incorporated’, which had offices in New York, Hollywood and Kansas City. His Family Rosary Crusades and Prayer Rallies took place in many countries in the 1950s, and he visited Australia twice to spread his message that ‘The family that prays together, stays together’.

This series comprises literature produced by Family Rosary Inc and correspondence related to Fr Peyton’s work and his visits to Australia. Around 1954, Mrs Santospirito arranged for Family Rosary Inc’s Handbook for Priests to be translated into Italian by Fr Modotti. Folder 14.3 contains Fr Modotti’s draft translations.
