| Description | This series comprises various ‘miscellaneous’ items. It includes a program from a Reception to New Australians by the Catholic Community, an event held at Melbourne Town Hall on 13 July 1950. The evening included national dances and songs from the Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Czechslovakia, Holland and Italy. There is a program from the Tribute to Fr Modotti, held on 9 December 1945 at Cathedral hall. A document ‘Death of Mrs Bartolina Virgona’ recounts the life of Mrs Santospirito’s mother, who died in 1956, aged 99. The series also contains postcards, photographs and representations on behalf of migrants, dating from 1960. |
