Description

The series consists of correspondence between Mrs Santospirito and Harold Holt, Minister for Immigration from 1949 to 1956. The subject matter of the correspondence is similar to the letters between Mrs Santospirito and Arthur Calwell, relating to the status of applications made by Italians to the Department of Immigration.

It includes a copy of a ‘Form 40’, which was required to be filled out when applying for a relative or friend to be admitted to Australia from overseas.

These records were originally file ‘A3’ in Cassetto B.
