Education Officers
The COASIT Education Officer at the National Gallery of Victoria is able to
provide:
* Italian language focussed student guided tours on either the NGVs
permanent collection of Italian art or special exhibitions.
*
A unique opportunity for students to discover and discuss Italian art,
history, fashion, music and design in inspiring surroundings.
* Professional development opportunities for primary and secondary teachers of Italian.
* Curriculum materials which complement the works in the collection.
* Support and advice on how to make the most from a visit to the NGV for students and teachers.

Italian Masters Workshop
Reflect on the works of the great Italian Masters.
Explore a variety of skills and learn about techniques such as
chiaroscuro (light and dark) to create your own still life masterpiece.

Travels through Italy
Journey through the Gallery and discover not only the artworks
but also the cities and times in which these Italian artists lived.
Write a postcard to describe what you have discovered on your travels.
