About the language program

When and where

Classes are held in modern classrooms at CO.AS.IT., 189 Faraday Street – right in the heart of Carlton, surrounded by cafés and good food. Standard classes are of two-hour duration offered during daytime and evening over a term of 8–10 weeks.

All our teachers are native speakers of Italian (or equivalent) and experienced language teachers. They know how to engage and make classes fun!

From Beginner to Advanced

Find out what you can expect in terms of language and grammar at each level – from Beginner to Advanced. Some courses focus on grammar, others on conversation (eg. for travellers) or are theme-based (eg. cinema).

At what level am I?

This is always a vexed question... Get to understand at what level of Italian you are so that you can choose the most appropriate class level. You can also always give us a call to discuss what is best for you!

Concession fees are available for students, pensioners, those in receipt of unemployment benefits or in the case of more than one family member or friend enrolling in a course at the same time. The concession rate is also given to all students upon their continuation with further courses at CO.AS.IT.

Second classes are available at the beginning of Week 3. Any classes low in numbers will be offered as a second class for a flat rate fee of $46.

Note: Fees are due on or before the first class. Payment must be received by CO.AS.IT. before confirmation of a place in a course can ensue.
